Fourth graders made a series of styrofoam plate prints using Pop Art images inspired by Andy Warhol and everyday life. Repetition is a common theme in Pop Art, as is bright random color. We drew thumbnails on paper, selected the best one, and transferred to foam by placing the paper over the foam and tracing the lines so the pencil pushed into the foam. We used Dick Blick printing ink and construction paper.
