Fine Arts Night and Sneak Peek of Free Art Friday!

What a productive year we have had, and it is time to show off our artistic skills at Fine Arts Night 2013! Come on out for a nice evening of art and music - every student will have their favorite piece from the year framed and on display. The art show in the Commons lasts from 5:30-7:30, and the 4th and 5th grade chorus concert, Cinemagic,  is in the cafeteria starting at 6:00.
Artome is once again framing all of our art for the show, and frames are available for purchase for $25, including a quality double mat. Cash or check payments are accepted that evening, with a portion benefitting Dolvin's art department. All artwork will be returned after the show. See pics below from last year's art show.
Also, we are trying a new activity this year called Free Art Friday, which will take place the day after the show. Read about it in this post and be sure to pick up your art piece for sharing on Fine Arts Night. See you then!

Here are some glazed clay "shoe print charms" - fresh from the kiln - and ready to be picked up at Fine Arts Night to give away on Free Art Friday

  3. I'm really interested in those frame stands (if that's what you call it) Where did you purchase those? Thank you!

    1. Mary, we use a local company called Artome that frames and displays all our student work and offers the frames for salefor$25 at the show. Our school receives a portion of the profit and all the remaining art is returned to the students shortly after the show comes down. So, they have their own frame stand system. It's pretty sweet.
