Mrs. Knight's Smartest Artists, Dolvin Elementary School, Johns Creek, Georgia
Wow! What I would give to have a sweet kiln room!
Oooh! I wish I had that much room to store clay!
It really is a sweet kiln room. I got so lucky - our school was built in the 70's, and we built a new wing about 5 years ago. It included new art and music rooms, a science lab and a tv studio. I have to admit, it is pretty swanky, and it's not a bad place to spend 40+ hours a week.
That kiln room looks like it ATE mine! Cool!
Your very lucky to have such a great space! We don't have a kiln at the elementary school. I've used air dry clay and Model Magic. With my time constraints Model Magic works best for me with the little guys.
Every clay teacher's dream! I love all your ideas!
